2. Offline by Design (No Personal Data Collection)

Noor ul Quran is primarily designed as an offline Islamic application. We do not require you to create an account, register your email address, or provide any personal identification information (PII) to recite the Holy Quran, use Noorani Qaida, or practice your daily Azkar and Tasbih.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

• Location Access (Coarse / Fine): Used solely on-device to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times (Namaz timings) and determine the exact Qibla direction based on the device's magnetic sensor. Your location data is processed locally on your phone and is never transmitted to our servers or stored externally.
• Storage / Network: Used to download and save optional offline resources, such as high-resolution 16-line Quran PDF pages, Noorani Qaida files, and audio recitations upon explicit user request.
• Notifications: Used to deliver timely prayer time alerts (Adhan reminders) and daily streak updates when enabled by the user.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support ongoing development and keep the app completely free for the global Muslim community, Noor ul Quran displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Identifier for Advertisers - IDFA) and device diagnostics to serve relevant ads according to Google's policies.

We comply with Google's EU User Consent Policy and utilize Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent collection where required by law. Users can also enjoy a 24-Hour Ad-Free Pass by watching a single rewarded video or purchasing lifetime ad removal.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Noor ul Quran provides an educational Noorani Qaida section suitable for learners of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13. All educational content is self-contained.

6. Security of Your Data

Since your recitation bookmarks, daily streaks, and tasbih counts are stored locally on your device via SQLite and secure preferences, your spiritual progress remains private on your hardware.

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be published directly on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
