1. Glad news to Maryam
A messenger from Allah brought Maryam good news of a child. She wondered how she could have a child without a husband. She was told that this was easy for Allah and that the child would be a sign and mercy for people.

Maryam withdrew to a distant place. The pains of childbirth brought her to a palm trunk and caused deep distress. She was reassured not to grieve, told of water beneath her, and instructed to shake the trunk so fresh dates would fall. She was told to eat, drink and be comforted. The Quran describes both care from Allah and an action she was instructed to take.
When Maryam brought the baby to her people, they questioned her. She pointed to him. Isa spoke as a baby and identified himself as Allah's servant and prophet. He also spoke of prayer, zakat and kindness to his mother.
Allah taught Isa the Book, wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel and sent him to the Children of Israel. He brought signs: a bird-shaped form of clay became a bird, the blind and those with leprosy were healed, and the dead were brought to life, all by Allah’s permission. His message was that Allah is his Lord and theirs, so they should worship Him. The miracles supported that message, not worship of Isa.
Isa asked who would support Allah’s cause. The disciples affirmed belief and following the messenger. In another passage they asked for a table of food from heaven to reassure their hearts. Isa prayed to Allah for provision and a sign. Allah promised it with a warning against disbelief afterwards. The verses do not list a menu, so particular foods are not invented here.
The Quran rejects the claim that Isa was killed or crucified and says that Allah raised him to Himself. This is the Quranic account; it does not name a person as a substitute here. Another passage makes clear that Isa taught worship of Allah, his Lord and theirs. We keep this account to the stated revelation rather than adding an unverified version of the event.
All power belongs to Allah. Show kindness and respect.
A learning takeaway, not a quotation from the Quran. This is an original, simplified retelling of selected Quranic accounts and sahih narrations, not a word-for-word translation or a complete biography. Each section links to its sources. Any tafsir explanation is labelled separately. Where the cited sources give less detail, the account remains shorter. The final takeaway is a learning activity.
