Peace be upon him

1. Patience

Surah Al-Anbiya mentions Dhul-Kifl with Ismail and Idris. Allah describes them as patient. Patience is the quality highlighted in this passage.

References: Quran 21:85

2. Mercy and righteousness

The next verse says that Allah admitted them into His mercy and that they were righteous. Surah Sad also includes Dhul-Kifl among the excellent.

3. The limits of the stated account

These passages do not give a detailed adventure or describe a particular mistake by Dhul-Kifl. We keep the account to these stated qualities rather than inventing events to make it longer.

What can we learn?

Practise patience while doing what is right.

A learning takeaway, not a quotation from the Quran.
All source references

This is an original, simplified retelling of selected Quranic accounts and sahih narrations, not a word-for-word translation or a complete biography. Each section links to its sources. Any tafsir explanation is labelled separately. Where the cited sources give less detail, the account remains shorter. The final takeaway is a learning activity.
